This post of mine about cosmetic surgery (not my area of expertise) has now succeeded in grabbing the #1 spot in Google:
That's after writing one post, with very bland content and (presumably) no readers/followers with any particular interest in cosmetic surgery.
Of course I have kind of cheated by picking a very specific search term ('minor cosmetic surgery hampshire'). My post is nowhere if you just search for 'cosmetic surgery'. But a real cosmetic surgeon (you reading this, Ed?), with a regular blog about surgical procedures, different treatments, recent developments, anecdotes, whatever, could totally dominate search for this sector.
Beats an advert in Yellow Pages, that's for sure.
Next challenge: 'guesthouse reservation software'. That might take a little longer.
